You're the one who always says I need to get out more! This'll be fun!" "I don't know... Is it really that safe?" "If anything goes wrong, I'll be there to save you. Don't worry." "I still don't know..." "You need a push?" "No! I'm going! I'm going! I don't know how you talk me into this..." With that, Natalie closed her eyes and jumped off the bridge. Soon, Nick joined her. After being hauled back up, the two bungee jumpers sat and rested. "That was incredible!" "I know Nat. But wait till next week..." ====== Thrilling Adventure #2: Ready, Aim, Fire! ===== "Bungee jumping isn't enough for you?" "No Natalie, I need excitement." "What you need is a good butt kicking." "I heard that!" "I know you did... Stupid thing won't connect right!" "Let me do it." "Hands off! I can do it!" "Oww! There was no reason to slap me." "Well, I'm ready now. And I'm gonna have fun doing this." A bored teenager stood up in front of the group of people Nick and Nat were mingling with. "We have only a few rules before we can let you loose to shoot to your heart's content. Try not to let the laser's hit people in the eye, and if you hear your armor suit give three long beeps followed by three short beeps, it means you are out of the game. Have fun in our Warhouse of Laser Mayhem." "This is gonna be so much fun." Natalie primed her laser gun and grinned evilly at Nick. "Nat, maybe we should stay together. After all, I am a crack shot." A buzzer sounded, signifying the beginning of the match. "Nick, it's every man and woman for themselves in there." Natalie ran into the gloom. ===== Nick looked in shock at his chest armor. That was the second time Natalie had gotten him. This time, it was at quite a bit of distance. He only had one life left before he was out of the game. "Nat, where did you learn to shoot like that?" he called from around a corner. "I used to practice shooting with my brother's BB gun every weekend for years. Now come out and take your death like a man and not a mouse!!" ====== Thrilling Adventure #3: Hellllloooooo Down There!!!! ===== "This is too much..." "Aww come on Nat! This'll be fun! Besides, we can do it in the daylight!" "Nick, I don't know." "Nat, just put on the hat and dive right in. We need to be deep enough so the sun doesn't shine there..." "All right, all right. I'll go spelunking with you if I get to pick next weekend's trip." "Oh, all right." It's my turn to pick, remember?" "Ok, ok.... I guess I'll survive. Now that I've spent a fortune on tickets, what shall we do?" "Well, there's Matterhorn or Space Mountain. Or we could go onto the Teacups. With your strength, we could get quite a buzz from it." "It's your day, or rather night, Nat. You choose." "Nat, come on, it'll be fun!" "No, I refuse. This time, you'll have to go alone. I'll wait on the boat." "Nat, it's perfectly safe." "No." ===== "I can't imagine how you talked me into this." "Let me check your tank. Looks ok. Lets do it." Nick and Nat entered the steel cage and watched the ship's crew lowered it into the water. They took pictures of the marine life, and Natalie actually lost her mouth piece from gasping when a shark glided close. ====== "See, told you we would have fun." "Nick, can we do something a little more laid back next time? I mean, bungee jumping, Laser Tag, spelunking, now scuba diving with a shark cage? It's a bit much..." "But it's so much fun!" "Nick, you are an excitement junkie." "Your point?" ===== ===== Thrilling Adventure #6: Headbanger Central ===== "Nat please, not this! Please!" "Get up off the floor Nick. There's no use begging, you said I could choose anything to do this weekend. Luckily, my favorite band is in town." "Nat, I will do anything you say. Just please don't make me go to that concert." "Forget it Nick. Now go get dressed. You're picking me up in two hours." ====== Nick knocked on Nat's door, talking to himself. (Awww... po' Nick.) "What does one wear to a... Natalie?!?" His eyes bulged out when he saw her. She was wearing a leather dress with a zipper all the way up the front. A short leather dress. A very short leather dress. The type of dress you don't want your girlfriend to bend over in public. She was also wearing fishnet stockings and black stiletto heels. "What did you expect me to wear to a Nine Inch Nails concert? A ball gown?" Natalie said as she eyed his outfit critically. "The belt goes." "What?" "Basic black will do, but the belt goes." Natalie sighed. "Too bad we can't do anything about your shoes." Nick just refrained from commenting. Then he noticed something. "Natalie, is that what I think it is?" Nick asked while pointing to her chest. "Yes Nick, that's my cleavage. Oh, you mean the tattoo. I never wore anything that showed it before did I?" "You have a tattoo?!?" "Yes. Come on, we're going to be late." Nat pulled Nick toward his car. =====
