Nick Knight, county sheriff for Rednectavia County is an upstanding sort of man in charge of the night shift of law enforcement.

LaCroix, Nick's father, is the night DJ for the local country station, WPIG, 666.9 on the FM dial. In between playing country's hottest stars and greatest hits, he extolls the virtues of family life and not fighting a person's true nature.

Janette, a relative of some sort to Nick's (real relation unkown), works as the night waitress at the local full service truck stop. Even though, most of the clientele aren't driving trucks. Smacking her gum, she vainly tries to keep her pink uniform clean amongst the grease produced by the short order cook, Urs.

The local taxadermist, Screed, seems to enjoy working with rats the most while his best friend, Vachon, works in the local garage, the only one open 24 hours in a three county radius.

Reese, working a dual job as the local plumber and bottled water deliveryboy, spends his days working and his nights on the third bar stool from the left at the truckstop.

Natalie worked as the local doctor and coroner, and her side business was the local mortician. If it had to do with the body, you went to Natalie. Also, she's now in negotiations for ownership of the local butcher shop.

Nick's daytime replacement is Schanke, who takes great pride in his ability to chew on the same hay stalk for hours on end and talk at the same time.

The mayor's daughter, Tracy, is a slight pariah from the family because she decided to go into a trade instead of living in style and splendor as the rest of the family. Instead of living like the local version of nobility as the rest of the family, she teaches the local children in the one room school, of which the community is quite proud of. Also, she works quite closely with Amanda Cohen, the local librarian, in improving the minds of the kids.

Judge Stonetree is a fine, upstanding judge who enjoys having his court sections at night, but will get up for day court time if absolutely neccessary.
