By Ninjababe

'Softly' he said
'There is no need to fear.'
But still I trembled.
He blocked the light
And I reveled in it.
This is what I feared.

He whispered sweet promises
Of power and unending life.
His touch seduced me
And made me forget myself.
His presence, cold
But his absence, even colder.

Should I say 'Yes!'
Or whisper 'no'?
Become a child of darkness
Or stay a woman of light?
The moment of decision is here.
Did I choose correctly?
