If you haven't read "Ten Things I Hate About Star Trek", then whoooosh over there right now.
Here's my list of ten random things about Star Trek:
1: What was with the Universal Translator? I never understood how that thing was supposed to work.
2: I performed in a group that did a Scottish country Dance called "Fizzbin", done to ST movie music and created by fellow dancer Carolyn. Dang, that was fun!
3: Does anyone else find they see STNG a lot differently now than when they first watched it?
4: I have a cat named "Kang".
5: I could listen to Patrick Stewart read the phone book!
6: Anyone else ever read that fanfic from way back when that was Dr. Who (Tom Baker's) on the Enterprise (Classic)? (then there was Dr Who meets the Hobbits, but that's a whole other list!)
7: My favourite ST novel: Ishmael
8: Favourite TimeCon memory: George Takei leading us in singing "Waltzing Matilda".
Okay, I said 10, but I'm stuck at 8.

My fave ST novel is also Ishmael--haven't thought of that one in years! Isn't that the one where Spock earns money by playing the laws of probability in gambling? It's been a while...
