I finally got the crown set at the dentist today. I really like my new dentist (my old one retired) but she doesn't do injections as well. And that's the part I hate. She prescribed valium to help with the anxiety, but it doesn't seem to do much. But having a few drinks with it sure does! April took me out to dinner after, and after a snakebite and a sake, I finally felt better!
Had a bad day at work, you know sometimes I get tired of being the one person no one knows even exists. Happened again today. I went into the warehouse and there was this huge plate of food the sale assistant had put there. I asked one of the guys what it was doing there, and he says, "the party" like I was supposed to know what he meant. I didn't of course, so he explained to me it was the going away party later today for this woman who works at the city conference center we are contracted with, and that we had all been invited. Well guess what? No we weren't all invited, because I didn't know a thing about it. So what else is new?
I should be used to it by now, I know, but today it just got to me.
