How long has it been since you've heard about the song "Sister Christian"? If you read Michele (she started it) or Andrea's blogs, then very recently. But the story doesn't end there! Oh no! There's more!
First, a few bits of info for context:
1) I work for a sound company
2) we did a rather large show last week
3) One of our techs is really into aliens, alien abduction/implants/experimentation, you name it. And he's currently reading a book that claims the planet was settled by lizard aliens long long ago and they're still here, masquerading as humans and secretly running the world. And he likes to tell us all about it :)
4) The owner of our company belongs to an exclusive men's club that the book says is really a stronghold of the lizard aliens.
Got that? Okay, on to tonight's story!
I hate the song "Big Yellow Taxi", and yet, it keeps being remade. (And I really, really hate it.) Worse than that, I hate it and it keeps getting stuck in my head! I've heard the Counting Crows cover of it multiple times today and just before lunch, I heard it again. So I'm ranting about how much I hate the damn song when my boss comes in. I commented I needed to find another song to get stuck in my head. So I list a few possibilities: the theme from Mr. Ed, or maybe "A Small World", then it hits me, and I add "Sister Christian" to the list as it had been stuck in my head in the earlier part of the morning. My boss does a double take and looks at me like I'm an alien and wants to know where on earth I pulled "Sister Christian" from. I explained and then he told me it was totally weird, because he's being stalked by that song. He said at last week's show, they were doing a sound check and they told the singer to just sing something. Guess what she sang? And a few months before, we were doing a show in Denver, and he said he went outside the hotel and at the food fair going on, Night Ranger was on stage and singing, you guessed it, "Sister Christian". He said before this all happened, he hadn't even heard about the song since the 80s.
So we chatted about how odd it all was, and I decided that Night Ranger must be in league with the lizard aliens and are using the song as some sort of trigger. And obviously, since the owner is actually part of the lizard alien cult, he must have put an alien implant in him at some point to activate the "Sister Christian" trigger.
Yes, we're all whacked! But I needed to write a frivolous post after too much warblogging on Gaggle!

Thought it was harmless enough,but its always there chewing away at me! Im worried!
Funny thing is ive also got the Lotus Eaters tune "First Picture Of You" hammering at my head,and its not even in the game!
