I was with a friend of mine (I took her shopping because her hubby had the car), and her son wanted a box so he could give them out to his classmates on National Humiliate the Unpopular Kid Valentine's Day. We (my friend and I) were both pretty freaked out by them when I pointed out how glum everyone except Pippin and Merry looked. True, TT isn't exactly a rollicking comedy. But just imagine getting a Valentine with Gimli on it. "Uh... thanks, honey!"
But the things are really for kids, so I guess it doesn't matter...
