Buffy was utterly awesome! This season has been so good, it's like some of the first seasons of the show. This is when I wish I was better at ep discussion, because there was just so much that was good and scary as hell! Out of all the good stuff, I will ask this one question. Was that really Spike killing the woman in the bar? Or is this "Big Bad" masquerading as him for some purpose of his own?

The only lie that was uncovered in the episode was Willow discovering that Cassie wasn't Cassie-- with all that in mind, none of the conversation was true; extrapolate from there that a) a Big Bad version of Spike sired the vamp Buffy talked to, b) "Joyce" was lying and c) Spike isn't out murdering and killing. I liked that interpretation much better, it was much more comforting.
